I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Kolpinghaus. The room I had was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The view from my room on the third floor was absolutely lovely. The breakfast in the bright and beautiful canteen restaurant was delicious and served in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities, such as the gym and laundry room, were well-equipped and very convenient. I had a fabulous experience at Kolpinghaus.

It's very clean both in the room and in the hotel. I like the quietness and the hotel style. The christian background makes me more comfortable.
the location is definitely not the advantage, but in exchange it is very quiet and ideal for a good sleep!

Ok, this place is the best hotel ever. We came in so early in the morning after a long overnight train ride and they were more than happy to let us check in early so we can shower and sleep. The girls at the front are fantastic and do everything to assist you, they even ordered us a taxi and home delivered dinner. Location is great; they have bike hire so u can get to the old town in no time and also just a bus ride away from main train station, you can even walk there. Please consider this hotel if you are staying in Salzburg. Rooms are super clean and showers are great. Hotel is big and comfortable.

Was comfortable and the staff very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay there again as it was reasonably priced.
Perhaps if there were shampoo etc in the bath to use if one forgets to bring one's own.

We had a pleasant Xmas stay at this hotel. the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, giving us a sense of home away from home. the hotel was conveniently located near the city center and train station, making it easy for us to explore and get around.
There was no air conditioning in the building, which made it uncomfortable, especially during the summer months. It would have been nice to have a cooler room to escape the heat.

Hostel type accomodation close to the city. We had a twin room with ensuite, great place to stay especially with students or groups but fine for family groups also. Hired bikes from the accommodation the next day for a tour around Salzburg which was a really good way to see the city.

The place is very beautiful. The hostel is located close enough to the train station. The toilet and shower are in the room. Also in the room has a TV and lockers.
Breakfast in the room rate does not include, and the kitchen is not very liquid.

If you are student and stay for a short time, it should be good enough. It also has public kitchen available.
If you can take tram, the location should be any matter.

We stayed at a hotel for one night, but it was very good. the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. the staff was helpful and allowed us to store our luggage for free. the location was a bit far from the city center, but there was a nearby bus stop for easy access. it was a great choice for a few nights in Salzburg.
We felt welcomed into the family and had no reason to complain.
